General Course Terms and Conditions
1) All bookings are made subject to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
2) In making this booking you are confirming that all persons put forward for training are of sufficient fitness and are suitable for training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
3) Students put forward for First Aid at Work Requalification training will be able to provide evidence of a valid First Aid at Work certificate which must still be in date at the time of the requalification course assessment.
4) Payment for all courses must be made in full at least 7 days before the start of the course booked unless credit facilities have been agreed, in writing, with Sure-Est Ltd.
5) In NO cases will certificates be issued until full payment has ben received.
6) Cancellation by client more than 14 days before the start of a course will be eligable for a full refund less a £10 administrative fee.
7) Canellation by client less than 14 days but more than 7 days before the start of a course will be eligable for a 50% refund less a £10 administrative fee.
8) Cancellation by client with less than 7 days notice prior to the start of a course will not be entitled to any refund.
9) In all cases cancellation by the client must be made in writing.
10) No refund will available should any candidates fail to attend.
11) No refund will be available should any candidate fail to acheive the required standard during assessment and hence "fail" the course.
12) Should a course be cancelled by Sure-Est Ltd then a full refund will payable regardless of notice given. Sure-Est Ltd will be liable for no further compensation what so ever.
13) Sure-Est Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or delay of any kind to the client, employee of the client or any third party, by any act, defaut or omission how so ever caused except so far as such liability can not be excluded by law.
14) Sure-Est Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notification. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law.
15) No alterations, modifications or extensions affecting any of these clauses shall be valid unless agreed in writing with Sure-Est Ltd.
In-House Training
16) It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the Health, Safety and welfare facilities at the training venue.
17) No refund will be given should training be abandoned on grounds of Health, Safety or Welfare.
18) Training venues must conform with the Health and Safety Executive's requirements for training venues. A copy of which is available on request.
19) It is the clients responsibility to ensure the safety of all training equipment whilst on their premises and they should hold suitable insurance to cover any loses occured
20) No course can be abandoned by the client, without the approval of Sure-Est Ltd, due to the late attendance of the trainer, unless that late attendance would shorten the course by either more than one hour or 80% of the total course duration, whichever is the greatest. |
